Reminds me of hearing about Irving Berlin this morning, lived 1898 to 1989, who was an atheist Jew and wrote White Xmas and Easter Parade, so there's an irony... Been the same through history though where the oppressor takes over the culture of the oppressed and steals and converts everything and distorts it all for their own weirdness...
